So I went to see the new Star Trek film this morning and I have to say it was rather enjoyable. Now as a fan I am kind of torn. On the one hand it was a great movie for what it was. Yet, as far as established Star Trek history goes the movies takes a number of key events rip them apart and flush them down the per verbal toilet. Still for a relaunch of the franchise it does the job well. And yeah, I know I'm going back and forth but the fact that it was a good movie just prevents me from really putting the movie down.
